Our Mission

At Redeemed Christian Counseling, we seek to create a safe, compassionate, authentic and caring environment. Our mission is to walk with clients on their journey to wholeness, being an agent of change through listening, using therapy skills and applying principles of Scripture. We depend on Christ to guide us in using skills and expertise to help people heal.

Emily Frazier

Education

Emily Frazier, founder of Redeemed Christian Counseling, is a graduate of The University of Akron with a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW). She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Akron.

License

Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision designation, licensed by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage & Family Therapist Board.

Experience

Emily has more than 20 years of experience in the mental health field. She has worked as a therapist in residential treatment and outpatient therapy. She has worked with trauma, substance abuse, sexual offenders as well as other behavioral and emotional struggles. Emily has also worked as a school-based counselor with at-risk middle and high school children. She has served as a clinical director and a professor at the University of Akron. Emily is trained in EMDR and currently works with children (ages 6+) and adults.

About Emily

Emily is passionate about Jesus and helping others to find healing and restoration through Him. Emily loves to find ways to help people realize their potential, overcome barriers and discover who God created them to be.

Experience

Richard Frazier is lead pastor of DayBreak Community Church and Executive Director of the Wooster Hope Center, Wayne County’s largest food pantry. Pastor Rich has ministered in various capacities for the last 30 years while providing pastoral care to families and individuals.

Education

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Malone University where he minored in religious studies.
